Bed Bug Prevention for Travelers

Hotels, luggage, and second-hand furniture can introduce bed bugs. Inspect room seams and headboards when you arrive; keep luggage on a rack or in the bath. When you get home, wash and dry travel clothes on high heat and vacuum bags. Avoid used upholstered items unless they’re thoroughly checked or treated.
